There's no better time to seek investors than now. In this post, I’ll walk you through Rigid’s core functionality and how it ties into the pre-seed stake amount.
The market validation has been strong. As I mentioned in my previous post, competitors like Whop (which recently crossed $1 billion made by creators on their platform) and Linktree have shown that there's massive demand for tools that help creators monetize their work and build sustainable online businesses.
What makes Rigid different is our focus on the new generation of digital entrepreneurs – the teenagers and twenty-somethings who are building million-dollar businesses from their smartphones and bypassing traditional career paths entirely.
I want to show you some examples of these youngsters.
When I started this whole project, I knew Rigid had to leverage social media in a big way. We're not competing with Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, or any other big social media platform. We're extending the toolset of creators who have built up audiences on these platforms.
Rigid is built for creators who are reselling, launching paid communities, building courses, and even hosting for-profit events. We’re currently developing a new product called Frameworks — a powerful tool for digital entrepreneurs. A framework reveals the money-making system behind a creator’s business, offering insight into the strategies that drive their success.
Once a creator has their digital products set up on Rigid, all they have to do is drop the link in their social media bio. Simple as that. These entrepreneurs are pros at using calls-to-action and driving traffic right where it counts.
While being a Technical Founder has allowed me to play around with prototypes, we're at a critical inflection point where additional capital will allow us to:
Our vision is to be the go-to platform for Gen Z (and beyond) entrepreneurs looking to build, scale, and monetize their digital businesses, and the right funding partner will help us get there faster.
We're seeking investors who understand the creator economy and the potential of tools that serve this rapidly growing market. The ideal investor for Rigid:
The creator economy is projected to exceed $500 billion globally by 2030. Within this massive market, there's a significant segment of young creators who are underserved by existing platforms that weren't built with their specific needs in mind.
At just 20 years old, I understand firsthand how my generation approaches online business differently. We're not just looking for link-in-bio tools – we need comprehensive solutions that help us build sustainable businesses around our digital products.
Rigid is positioned to capitalize on this opportunity by building the tools that young entrepreneurs need to succeed in today's digital landscape.
If you're an investor who's excited about the future of the creator economy and wants to back a company that's building for the next generation of digital entrepreneurs, I'd love to connect.
Similarly, if you're a talented engineer, designer, or AI specialist who wants to help build the future of creator tools, we're always looking for exceptional people to join our team.
Best,
Silis Kleemoff
